"Foxy" is definitely one foxy lady with her belly spot, strip on her face, stockings, and her one blue eye. Foxy was our latest addition and we're very excited to see what she can do in the show ring.
Foxy has been started under saddle and with less than 30 days she is already showing promise of continuing down the western pleasure, hunter under saddle, or reining path. Take a moment to look at her latest pictures taken August 11th, 2002. She already walks, jogs, lopes softly, completes 180 degree turns, backs, and is showing a fondness for stopping hard. We waited to start her later due to the fact that she is a smaller horse. Foxy is not going to be your 16 hand horse, but I definitely can see her being an outstanding filly for a youth or a smaller woman. I'm 5'8", so you can compare me to her size as a two-year-old, born in April. Foxy will continue to grow for another two years, putting on additional heigth and filling out.
Foxy has also had basic showmanship training. She can stand square, pivot, trot out, and complete pattern work.
Foxy's dad is Poor Hollow Siemon, a sorrel overo Paint stallion. Her mom is Foxy Red, a sorrel tobiano Paint mare. Foxy can be traced back to such foundation Quarter Horses as Sonnys Reynold, Leo San Siemon, and Mora Leo.
